Immune Boosting Choc Peanut Butter Banana Bread {Sugar Free, with Vegan Option}


Peanut Butter and Chocolate go together like... well... Peanut butter and chocolate!


And this recipe for my super charged immune boosting banana bread that totally doens't taste like your typical banana bread WILL BLOW YOUR MIND.


It's light in texture with a rich chocolatey flavour, without being overwhelmingly sweet - because there is absolutely no added sugar. It incorporates my favourite flavours of peanut butter and chocolate, tastes SENSATIONAL and is free from allergens - including dairy, gluten and soy PLUS it contains both Adrenal and Vitality Switch for added immunity.


With all the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 I wanted to bring you a recipe that not only tantalised your taste buds, but also one that helps support your immune system with nutrient dense ingredients.


First up - let's talk Switch Nutrition Vitality (in chocolate flavour - duh). This super greens powder contains 33 amazingly healthy ingredients - including 4 magic medicinal mushrooms for a nutrient punch to help optimise your body's systems. Mushrooms are so fantastic for your health and have even been found to be helpful in inhibiting the growth of influenza, contain beneficial antibacterial compounds, not to mention they're packed full of antioxidants which can help your body to fight harmful bacteria and viruses.

Without further ado scroll down, to get the best dang recipe you'll try for banana bread - period!





Ingredients (makes 1 loaf)

2 ripe bananas

3 flax eggs (or normal eggs if you don’t want it vegan)

1/3 cup almond meal

1/3 cup GF oat flour

1/3 cup raw cacao

1 tsp bi carb soda

1 scoop Chocolate Adrenal Switch

1 scoop Chocolate Vitality Switch

1/4 cup Peanut butter (can use other nut butter)

Macromike powdered PB to swirl



Optional add-ins

Chocolate Chips

Walnuts




Method

Place all ingredients (except the Swirling PB) into a high speed blender, blend until combined. I use the Ninja Foodi Hot/Cold Blender (and honestly can't rave about it more if I tried - IT LITERALLY CLEANS ITSELF!!!)


Line a small loaf tin with baking paper. Pour the mix into the tin and swirl PB through the mix with a knife or skewer.


Bake for 30-40 mins at 175 degrees Celsius.


When bread is done you should be able to pull a skewer out clean.


This bread is absolute magic served warm with additional Macromike PB and some Vegan Chocolate chips.
